With the included charger, the tablet charges at about 1% every 2 minutes (approximately 0–95% in 3.5 hours; last 5% in ~30 minutes). Roughly 20 minutes of charging provides about 60 minutes of active captioning time.

As with all portable electronics, some battery capacity degradation is normal over years of use.
